Shockstrip® Disclaimer

Please Read Completely. This is a  Legal Statement Which Can Affect Your Decision to Use These Products.

No helmet or device can fully prevent brain injury. Shockstrip®, does not represent that the use of our helmet strips will eliminate all risk from serious head, brain or neck injuries a player might receive while participating in any sport. It is the responsibility of the user to determine whether conditions are safe for physical exertion and to avoid helmet-to-helmet collisions and other serious blows to the head. Shockstrip®, Inc., assumes no responsibility for any injury suffered while using our products.

Please see our linear test results and impact results from Wayne State University and by NOCSAE testing to learn how our strips act as a car bumper or safety belt to deflect, absorb energy and sound deadening from helmet-to-helmet impact, for extra protection. While no helmet or device has been proven to reduce concussions, football helmets with Shockstrips have been shown to perform significantly better than helmets without Shockstrips in protecting the head and neck.

Contact in football may result in CONCUSSION-BRAIN INJURY, which no helmet or exterior device can prevent. Therefore Shockstrip®, Inc., assumes no responsibility for any injury suffered while using our products.

Shockstrip®, Inc. strongly recommends helmet reconditioning by a NOCSAE License Reconditioner and replacement of strips at least every two (2) years. Ultimately, as with all other personal garments, the player or user is responsible for the safe and proper use of our products.
